Kalashnikova automatic – Facts and speculations
Hello, reader!
Kalashnikov’s https://gamblingdata.net/casinos/karamba-casino/ automatic machine has long become an important element of the modern world. He is in all corners of the world, he is on the state symbols of some countries, he took part in countless films, and, of course, constantly flashes in computer and video games. As a result, this weapon has become overgrown with a huge amount of all kinds of folklore, whether it be myths, speculation or stereotypes. This is about all this in this article and the conversation will go. It is clearly not possible to talk about each aspect – this is a field for quite serious scientific work, but it is worth mentioning the most important thing.
Here is at least the first problem-how to call the very first machine in the family correctly-AK-47 or AK (you can also recall the Grau index-56-A-212, but someone will hardly use it)? Both options have their adherents, and disputes can last at least eternity, but at the same time both options are partly true, AK – or actually 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine gun-and there is officially accepted in the USSR (and then in Russia). The variant of the name AK-47 came to us from the West, namely from the United States. Such a pronunciation was caused by the fact that in the United States it is customary to call weapons not only by its name, but also by the platform on the basis of which it was created. For example, in the case of M16, the platform is called AR-15. Therefore, for example, when the buyer sees in the ADCOR Defense B arms store.E.A.R. Piston on the AR-15 and Bushmaster Varminter v Match Rifle SA platform on the AR-15 platform, it will know that this is all variations on the M16 theme. The Platform of the Kalashnikov assault rifle was actually called-AK, what would not have turned out tautology-AK on the AK platform-the AK-47 machine itself was called the AK-47. So it turns out that it is about the same to say in Russian speech AK-47 as a manager to say instead of a manager.
The second problem is the actual automatic modification. When I was little, I sacredly believed that in nature there is only AK, AKS-74U and AK-74. This later became known to me about three options for the basic AK and ACC, two versions of AKM and AKMS, etc.D. But this business, although interesting, is by no means necessary-the key females to be able to distinguish AK, AKM and AK-74 (AKS-74U does not need special signs, it is very specific.) So, to facilitate the problem, visual materials are applicable
And add a pair of explanation.
AK is easy to distinguish from AKM in the receiver. A significant area selected by the cutter (since the box is actually milled) is visible in the store’s area of the store. AK-74 is distinguished by its characteristic flame arrester. This, of course, is not all the differences, but they are at least a community for all options for this machine.
They figured out the name, they went briefly on the options – you can proceed to legends.
The first myth-AK “licked” with STG-44. This legend is ancient as the world, and is based on two facts-firstly, the stormgeret and AK are very similar, and secondly, Hugo Schmyser (author of STG-44) after the war lived in Izhevsk for some time. If with the second argument it is worth disassembled by having the data of the Izhmash archive in my hands (which I do not have), then the first argument is easily refuted. Everything is simple-the shutter locking mechanisms are different (the shutter of the shutter and the bloom of the shutter at the STG-44), the other principle of disassembly (the AK removes the boring box, the Sturmhever is leaned down on the pin of the trigger). The main resemblance – gas -operating automation – was invented long before the Second World War and was used, for example, on the machine guns. So my opinion on “I copied or not”-AK Development is independent, but when creating it took into account advanced achievements in firearms, including ideas reflected in STG-44.
Myth second – Kalashnikov machine gun is incredibly inaccurate. Partly with this idea, one can agree – due to the presence of gaps (which make an automatic machine so tenacious) the accuracy of shooting really suffers. But, firstly, this problem is affected only with long queues, while during single shooting it is quite possible to fire at a distance exceeding 500 meters. Secondly, the AK-74 family machines use a cartridge 5.45×39 mm, whose pulse is very close to the pulse of the NATO cartridge 5.56×45 mm (1316 J and 1767 J), so the level of return is quite low. Well, and finally, thirdly, as they say, a person shoots, not a machine gun.
Myth third – AK cannot be broken. Let this phrase warm the soul of any Kalash lover, but it also makes a machine gun a bear service. Yes, AK is incredibly tenacious and repairing, is able to withstand strong blockage and bad weather conditions, but this does not mean that it should not be kept clean, because, unfortunately, you can break anything you want. A good soldier will score his weapon in any free minute, the Kalashnikov assault rifle is no exception.
And now, after reading this article, you may have a question- and where is the games here? And despite the fact that for a long time the weapon of the AK family received incredibly miserable embodiment in video games. For example, my personal nightmare-AK-47 from Conter-Strike 1.6.
Left -sided shutter (of course there were, but very few), irregular shape, a curly fuse, the wrong cover of the receiver – it really was a spit in the face. Yes, of course, since then, everything has changed a lot – in the same CS GO, the machine looks quite normal. But to this day, the little ones will be a miscalculation-for example, in the powered AK-12 (say thanks to the Battlefield and Call of Duty) there is a shutter delay, that is, when changing an empty store to complete, there is no need to manipulate a gate for sending the first cartridge-just press on a special flag (which is clearly faster). If my memory serves me, this is not taken into account in games.
As a result, I would like to hope that this article became for someone a source of information (albeit very superficial) or prompted to independently and seriously familiarize himself with the Kalashnikov automaton or in rifle weapons in general. And when you have to, for example, take part in the development of the next shooter (you never know), you will be aware of the rifle weapon and how. Thank you for your attention.
